> 3 dayIch habe die zwei rasselnden Gehäuselüfter meines neuen Gehäuses durch zwei Noctua NF-S12A PWM ersetzt. Solange sie heruntergeregelt sind, höre ich sie quasi gar nicht. Erst nach längeren rechenintensiven Tasks, wenn die Temperatur im Gehäuse ansteigt, legen sie hörbar los. Seltsamerweise stört mich das Geräusch aber gar nicht so sehr. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass ich hier vor allem die Luft rauschen höre und die Motoren nahezu lautlos arbeiten.

> 3 dayI bought these originally, not knowing that my system needed 3 pin connectors. I could have still used these fans with the 4 pin connectors but I would have needed to get a pair of adapters. Thats okay, I will hang onto them for a future system build.

> 3 dayReplaced the three front case fans on my H710i because they were insanely loud. Installing these was pretty easy to do. I did not use the antivibration mounts though, because they were not fitting in well. I was actually shocked by how quiet the computer is now. I cant even tell that its on. The temperatures are about the same as with the stock fans, but the noise decrease is pretty significant. It is so quiet that I now I have the desktop on the desk rather than on the floor. NZXT cam says the noise levels went down from around 50 db to 48, which I dont think is accurate.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
