> 3 dayMy first Noctua fan, and wont be my last. Extremely high quality parts and packaging. You truly get what you pay for. The fan is very quiet and moves a decent amount of air. I use it as my rear exhaust fan in my Fractal Design Define C Mini.

Ho sostituito una delle 2 ventole del case m-ATX (Fractal design) m-ATX con una di queste, inudibile e performante; presto sostituirò anche laltra, super consigliata. Consegna super veloce come da classico Amazon, anzi anche in anticipo dato che il prodotto non era momentaneamente disponibile.

> 3 dayJavais à la base deux ventilateurs fournis avec ma tour de lunité centrale. Après les avoir changés pour des noctua, jai cru que mon ordinateur ne démarrait plus tellement ils était silencieux. Par ailleurs je suis entièrement satisfait du design sans défaut, le packaging est très propre et Noctua nest vraiment pas radin sur la multitude daccessoires fournis !

Its going to be competing with 2 x 140 top exhaust fans, better to make sure it will run without undue effort/stress to turn the blades when the other exhaust fans are doing their job. Whether or not this fan does what its suppose to do, hard to measure. But I will say that it does exhaust air sufficiently from the case, as expected when the 2 x 140 fans are running.

20-12-2024This is an excellent replacement for my XPS 8920 chassis fan that was becoming very noisy and spinning for long periods of time. The only problem (not at the fault of Noctua or the fan) is that the 8920 squeezes things into the case making it difficult to swap out parts. As such, I had to remove the CPU impeller fan and heatsink in order to swap out the old fan for this one. The old fan was blocked in by the heat sink and the power cable connector to the motherboard was unreachable with the heatsink in place. Thus the ease to install is 2/5 stars for my specific issue. I imagine it would be 5/5 if the fan mount point and power connector were more easily accessible.
The NF-S12A marks the third generation of Noctua’s signature S12 series quiet case fans, which have received more than 250 awards and recommendations from the international press.
