Very quiet but do not move as much air as I had hopped but the silence makes up for this

I recently purchase two of these fans after doing some research. What you see, is what you get. As advertised. No gimmicks necessary. Fans are awesome. Straight up plug and play. Installed in seconds. There’s literally nothing to dislike here. Love them.

Installed 2 of these in an older Mac Pro along with a Noctua PWM controller. I leave them running at 100% all the time, and theyre still very quiet compared to other fans, and they still move plenty of air. Would recommend these as case fans.

I was worried that this might be too loud. I am happy with it. I bought 4 fans for my new desktop and they are great.

I used this as rear/top exhaust on my NZXT H510 case. 120mm is the only size that this space accommodates and I swapped out the stock NZXT case fan. It is quieter and I was getting a few degrees cooler idle temps with just this change on the case (no other fans/coolers initally - was running Ryzen 5 3600 w/stock cooler and an OLD AMD GPU that is borrowed until I can decide on a card). I had read this was a top-rated air flow case fan and was quieter given the design. I would agree with those reviews/statements.

They dont have flashy LEDs like most other brands, but thats okay. They do their job, and they do their job well. I ordered two and at first, one wasnt spinning. But all it needed was a tiny boost by pushing it with my finger and now theyre both running like champs. Noticeable temp differences vs. stock fans or brands of lesser quality. Going to be running Noctua fans in my builds for a long time to come.

Makes a really alarming whining noise when the motherboard fan controller ramps up the speed in response to heat levels. I suspect it will need replaing sooner than the other (cheap, but completely silent) case fan I bought. Really disappointed, was hoping for better value for the money.

This fan isnt meant to be one of the quietest, I gave it 5 stars because it preformed within expectations. With that being said, the noise isnt unbearable or annoying, but thats opinion oriented. It did, however, immensely increase the cooling of my case. I didnt have an exhaust fan before, just 3 intake (Generic RGB Corsair Case fans from a Crystal 460x), and 1 cooler fan (NH-D15s). I did also install another fan as a top exhaust, same type as the one on the NH D15s, but quality of air flow was most noticeable after installing the NF-S12B.
