Noctua NH-C14S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A14 PWM 140mm Fan (Brown)

> 3 dayAfter switching to this Noctua cooler and Noctua NF-S12A case fans my PC is silent. Not hearing the shifting whine of the stock wraith prism cooler or the motor and bearings of the case fan I had before is worth the money. My temps are fantastic at idle and during a 100% CPU benchmark test. Ryzen 7 2700x.

> 3 dayUsed on a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU in a Cooler Master NR200 case. Substantially lower temps on both idle/low load and stress test.

Greater than one weekIm using this cooler in a 4U Intel workstation case with an LGA2066 motherboard and W-2275 CPU (rated 165W TDP).

> 3 dayUsing this on an ASUS Z170i mini itx board with (2) 16GB Trident Z DDR-3000 ram. I did not know for sure if the fan would fit on the bottom of the heatsink as I had it installed on top originally, so I unclipped it and slid it in on the bottom and it fit. I am using a EVGA GTX 1070 ACX3.0 and the heatsink fins on the Noctua NH-C14S are the same height as the video card now. I have the fan blowing downwards so it cools the components on the motherboard as well. I did loose a little performance by having the fan pull air through the heatsink vents instead of push, but not much. I am running a i7-6700K at 4.68Ghz with voltage at 1.31. Right now the idle temp is 23 Celsius and ambient temp in house is 67 Fahrenheit (19.44 Celsius). Fan is super silent and super high quality. Under load (Cinebench CPU test) I am at around 73 Celsius. If you are looking for the best quality unit...this is it.

Greater than one weekAfter much research and vacillation between water vs air cooling, I went with the noctua. My Skylake 4ghz clocks to 4.7ghz with this--with water maybe I could get a little more but it doesnt matter to me; I mostly run it at under 4.5 anyway. The fan is dead silent and mounting the fan on top, as shown here, allows my low profile memory not only to fit under it but to be inserted or removed (ATX case). I also like the orientation of the radiator. Why? Physics--the farther out the mass from the point of attachment, the more leverage on the motherboard; this orientation with the radiator parallel to the motherboard keeps the mass close minimizing the leverage--the fan also blows right down onto the memory.

> 3 dayI run a Ryzen 9 3950x, and previously was using a darkrock pro which was awesome, but when I had to transfer cases, I needed something that sat lower, and this thing is perfect! I needed the air to move up and sit low, and this did it. CPU rests idle at 39C and averages 40-63C during heavy use. Crazy awesome performance. And the packaging? Youd think I bought a Tesla. It was wrapped with perfection. Love it.

> 3 dayWorks very well in my Silverstone GD09 case handling an i7-10700 non k. Easy installation and handy accessories came with it also.
