My Ryzen 7 5800X runs below 80° Celsius and never gets throttled when Im doing highly CPU intensive tasks like rendering 3D projects or running games. CPU stays in the low 70° while gaming. It was surprisingly easy to install, especially since I was upgrading from another Noctua AM4 cooler and already had the main CPU socket bracket installed. Cant go wrong with the big D15!! Also its INSANELY quiet!!

> 24 hourArrived with no protective plastic covering the processor contact point. Relatively easy install for AM4. Much too loud, and nowhere close to as efficient at cooling as I was led to believe. I initially tested it on an undervolted Ryzen 5800X and found that thermals could climb as high as 83C during multithreaded tests with the fans screaming. My Scythe Ninja 5 with its 500 RPM fans performed nearly identically while making half the amount of noise. Same temps, same boost clocks. What is wrong with this thing?

> 24 hourThis thing is absolutely huge. Be absolutely sure it will fit in your rig. The cooler covers all my ram slots so upgrading ram in the future will be a task. Allows for some great overclocking and makes almost zero sound. Its slightly difficult to install but manuals make it easier.
