> 3 dayTemperature dropped from 50 to 28 at idle. Was able to overclock from 3.4 to 4.5 GHz easily, havent tried higher yet but CPU was at a cool 65 degres. Really well built, installation instructions are very clear.

> 3 dayBig @s5 Heat Sink has always been my preference because you do not have to monitor coolant degradation. I have used a few AIO liquid cooling solution including Corsairs H100x. In terms of performance, theyre about the same. Maintenance and monitoring is required with an AIO solution. I am always checking for pump noise, cracking hoses, etc... as the system becomes older. I also NEVER put AIO into builds that I do for others. The only upside to AIO for me is the clean and elegant look. With the new covers on the HS, the Noctua doesnt look too bad now!

> 3 dayThis is an absolute golith of a cpu cooler and only just fitted in my msi case so make sure you dont risk it like I did. Make sure you check if it will fit your case, coming from water cooling I can tell you it will keep your cpu cool and its really quite also which is always a good thing. I have a ryzen 5 5800x and that runs that around 31c on Idle but this will depend on various things such as airflow, amount of fans and also what the ambient temp is. Ill be sticking with aircooling from now on.

> 3 dayOk... This wasnt a fun adventure, putting in the fan while in the case, but it puts less stress on the mobo. Once you have the front panel and back panel of the case removed, you place the bracket from the outside going on. Once thats done put your spacers on, and then take the screws and tighten the the bracket into place. Now reinsert the back panel and tighten those screws up.

17-12-2024Dual fans in push/pull config do a great job at keeping the old 3770k cool.

Greater than one weekI upgraded from a hyper 212 evo, instant 10C temperature reduction even just using the middle fan. It was so much easier to install as well. I was worried about its HEFT on my cheap motherboard, but its lighter than it looks. The only annoying part of installation was the fan, as there was only an inch for my hand between the cooler and the top of my case. I had to use needle nose pliers and a lot of patience to pull the little metal clip over the side.

> 3 dayVery impressed! It comes with all the tools youll need for the installation. My PC build uses Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM and it had no comptability issues. Please keep in mind that this cooling fan is huge. A mid-tower or smaller sized case might not be able to handle its size. I use the NZXT Phantom 530 case and it fits like a charm. Overall, easy to install, super efficient performance and silent. I would definitely recommend this cooling unit!
