Noctua NH-U12A, Premium CPU Cooler with High-Performance Quiet NF-A12x25 PWM Fans (120mm, Brown)

No problems with noise or heat. Im curious if the fans are even required during idle.

Ive always wanted the cooling power of a top-of-the-line Noctua cooler but didnt want half of my build obscured by the massive heatsinks and fans. The NH-U12A fits the bill perfectly! Installation was a snap and the fans are very quiet while keeping my CPU at low temps. Most importantly, my RGB memory sticks are still visible!

Great step up from Noctua with a 120mm single-tower cooler.

Buyers beware if you have a LGA1700 motherboard. Amazon is selling older shipments of this product that do NOT have the LGA1700 mounting adapter plate. Luckily Noctua will send you one for free but it can take up to 20 business days. Very misleading product description.

My last Build was water cooled pump failed once has to replace the cpu and the AIO this decided to try air read all the stuff about this company the cpu has yet to see 70c and full load gaming including VR, probaly wont do water again since on air cooling you can see the fans working cant see the water pump spinning. But Love this cooler and its is stupid quiet even at full speed...

I bought this 2 years ago because I wanted something reliable and I wanted to see and access my RAM and NH-D15 is just too damn big. I had this on Ryzen 7 3700X and now using it on Ryzen 9 5950x. The temps are really low and I cant believe how quiet this is even when its cooling 5950x when its running at full speed, and its keeping it well under 80 for most of the time. This is seriously the quietest CPU cooler I have seen myself and it performs like a champ.

Easy installation. Went from overheating after a few minutes (90°c +) to barely breaking 60°c. Very impressed.
