Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

I really have to say this is an outstanding product in every sense of the word. Noctua first makes some of the best static pressure high cfm fans on the market and their product is literally top tier. I saw system thermals greatly drop on my cpu from 41C to 32C which is an insane drop while idle. While gaming, nothing ever went higher than the low 50s. Its especially easy to install if you are running an Intel Processor and the results and even the look are phenomenal. I give this the gold star for the gold star standard!

My pre-built pc came with a really poor cooler atop the ryzen 3700x. At times during games and running a a modest stress test I was seeing readings in the low 80s Celsius. With same stress test and same room temperature, this noctua cooler only hit 62 Celcius. I was stunned. My fan curve was set to start ramping up at 60 degrees so it was just silence. Everything in the box has the look and feel of high quality. The contact plate on the bottom of the heatsink is really smooth so not much thermal paste is needed.

I was looking for a cooling solution to replace my stock AMD fan/heatsink on my phenom II 1100T and found the Noctua NH-U12S chromax black single tower. The price was a tad higher than what I was looking at spending but after reading some articles and looking at videos everyone says Noctua was the Cadillac of cpu air coolers.

Cooler is great! HARDLY breaks 56C on my Ryzen 7 2700x.

Purchased this because I was unhappy with the temperatures my R9 3900x was sitting at with the stock Wraith Prism cooler. I couldnt decide between this and the NH-D15 (and D15S variant which is identical but with a single fan for $10 less). Eventually went with this U12S and am quite satisfied. Im sure the D15 would outperform this cooler slightly, but its also quite a bit bulkier and this seems to do just fine cooling a 3900x with Precision Boost Overdrive enabled.

Was soll man hier noch schreiben, was nicht schon unzählig Tests bestätigt haben, sehr einfache Montage, super Verarbeitung, super Kühlleistung und LEISE!

Product is nearly flawless for the price. However, it can generate some noise when pushed. Overall, very happy with it!

Kühlt meinen i7 9700 im inwin a1 bei stabilen 70*C ohne dabei aufdringlich laut zu werden und sieht dabei auch noch klasse aus. Hatte absolut keine Probleme mit RAM oder ähnliches und alles passt super. Auch die Montage war schnell und problemlos erledigt.

Uso ventole noctua da una decina di anni ormai, ma dissipatori per la cpu non li avevo mai provati. Per quanto mi riguarda, passando da quello fornito da amd con i processi ryzen a questo, le differenze si vedono. 7/8 gradi di meno in idle, qualcosina di meno in full load. Decisamente meglio per quanto riguarda la silenziosità, ma secondo me non vale quello che costa, soddisfatto a metà.
