Noctua NH-U12S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-F12 120mm Fan (Brown)

I had a h80i v2 water cooler for a while - it started getting noisy a few years back, and eventually failed (It lasted maybe 1-2 years before it started giving me trouble). I installed this bad boy for only 60 bucks and my CPU runs comparably cool at (sitting at 39c at 7% load at the moment on a Skylake i7). I will be installing a second fan to it, as well as an additional fan to the top of my case which should bump me down a bit.

Dissipatore semplice da montare e molto funzionale. Semplice fruscio indica il suo funzionamento, neanche ci si accorge che è attivo!

Powerful fan and very quiet. If you are gaming, this is a must to keep your computer cool. I bought this one to replace the old noisy fan, which worked, but is no match for this one when it come to cooling. Best purchase I have made in a long time!

non cè molto da dire su questo ottimo prodotto inferiore solo alla sorella della stessa marca taglia 15 , è silenziosa rafredda bene dopo 10 minuti di aida64 non superavo i 60°(i7 6700k)

Not sure what’s going on, I didn’t receive a used or returned cooler, everything was new but one of the fins was bent and a few other places the cooler had some abrasions to the fins, not what I have come to expect from noctua, kinda bummed.. box was in perfect shape.. cooler works as expected, no issue there but I wish it was in better shape considering it was new.. QC can’t catch em all I guess.. I tried to bend the fin back and it looks ok I guess.. hoping this is an isolated issue, I use noctua exclusively and this is the first I’ve seen this in a new cooler.. I bought another cooler earlier this month and it was flawless..

This is a great cooler, used a lot of Noctua products in the past, however the description for the cooler is deceiving. I bought this cooler to go on my LGA 1700 socket 12th gen intel processor which specifically needs the NM-i17xx-MP78 mounting kit due to clearance for the new socket. The description, and I quote:

Si lo comparamos con otros disipadores de aire dudo muchísimo que haya ningún otro que ofrezca esta calidad de ruido/disipación. Es muy silencioso y mantiene las temperaturas totalmente a raya. Hice pruebas apagando los ventiladores de la caja y seguía siendo igual de eficiente, si los he vuelto a encender es por la gráfica y demás, pero al procesador con el Noctua le sobra...

Muy buena calidad, muy buen funcionamiento, ha bajado 15 grados respecto al disipador de serie de intel y sin ruido.

Very well made, keeps the temps down better than the stock one but much quieter (fan speed 1/3 of stock). It is however quite big so worth checking sizes before buying
