17-12-2024Installed this on my brand new 5600X. Immediate drop of 18 degrees Celsius from stock cooler on idle. The stock wraith cooler works but has a weird buzz. After installing this My pc is nearly silent. Extremely happy to upgrade and a great price. I do some mild overclocking and this cooler doesnt miss a beat. I have had Noctua products before and this lives up to expectations I have come to expect from this brand.

La temperatura con tests de carga oscilaba mucho (en algunos test más exigentes como Aida64 incluso superaba los 90 grados) y jugando se ponía a unos 78-80 grados, pero lo peor es que el ventilador era muy ruidoso, por lo que empecé a mirar alternativas de disipadores por aire y dí con este Noctua no puedo estar más contento.

17-12-2024Love this CPU Cooler! Pretty quiet, Great Quality, Keeps system pretty cool when in hot ambiant temperatures. With the Ryzen 7 2700x idles around 35c in 28c ambient. And when stress test for about max time on Ryzen Master stays stable around 65c. No overclock done just set to auto. Only thing I dislike is just the color. Should definitely get duo fans for best results.

> 3 dayI purchased the Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 to replace the AMD Wraith cooler that came with my Ryzen 2700X. I run distributed computing apps like Einstein at Home so thus 100% CPU loads. While the Wraith kept CPU temps within the safety threshold it couldnt do it without making a lot of noise. The Noctua can. Its virtually silent and temps average 10C cooler to boot. This model is easy to install but make sure your AM4 motherboard has the stock AMD CPU backplate as this cooler uses it (most decent boards do). Please note that this cooler has no flashy LED lighting. Its a bit ugly but its built to perform with 10 heatpipes versus the Wraiths 4. The fan is easy to remove for cleaning and it does have an option for a second fan and even coming with the mounting hardware for one. If you run your Ryzen hard then this is the cooler for you.
