I needed a simple backpack for work that will hold a monstrous 17 laptop. This was the right price and did the job well. It has all the pockets that I needed and a bonus pass thru USB port. Its made out of a tight multiweaved waterproof material which it great for public places like airports.

The laptop is 16.24 x 12 x 0.91 in according to Amazon. It does not fit in this bag as the top corners overlap the zipper. Maybe the listing should mentioned the size of the inner compartment instead of just saying that it would hold 17.3 laptops in the text and images.

I am so glad I purchased this! Packed for 3 days and it held up great! As I carefully roll-packed an extra pair of shoes, 4 T-shirts, socks, underwear, 3 golf shirts, 3 casual T-shirts, 2 dress shirts, 2 khaki pants, 2 cargo shorts, small Ziploc bags of travel toiletries, few phone adapters, and snacks -all in the main compartment! I liked that I can unzip the main compartment nearly fully open to pack and unpack. The back compartment held my 12 Surface Pro, Kindle and RocketBook without problems. Back cushion was protective and comfortable when worn. I had several small items in the front compartments and a water bottle on the side. Wasnt too heavy and very comfortable on my back. I tossed it in the trunk, dropped it several times and even rested on it while sitting on the ground - no issues at all! Small needed items were easily accessible from the small front and side zippered compartments. Small front compartment kept my ear pods and glasses protected. I hooked up my portable battery

I originally bought one of these for my girlfriends daughter. She loved it. My girlfriend wanted one for her college classes. So I got her one too. She loves hers too. They both say they are very roomy and very comfortable to wear.

This bag is misadvertised as waterproof. Tested in a rainstorm, and the notebooks did not stay dry.
