Medium backpack that can hold items for travelling. I like it!

It is NOT waterproof at all. Water collected at the bottom and wet my books and luckily only got my laptop a bit wet since I sought shelter quickly.

I had to put a thing custom foam insert into the laptop area to get it to stand up better when set on the floor. Not needed if a laptop will always be in it. The only other thing that isnt the best is the push in the second storage flap. Id you put anything into it, it just stays wide open and kinda makes it a pain to get to something not in the pouch below. I sewed some velcro strips to make ot hold close. Other than those 2 things, I dont mind the pack at all, but would have definitely got something with a support piece in the main laptop compartment if I knew it would fold over so easily without the custom foam I put in to stiffen it up

I bought this as an alternative for my rolling computer case, for my Dell Mobile precision 17. My laptop has pretty thin bezels around the screen, and just barely fits. My older Mobile precision (7720 from 2016) does not fit well, so if your 17 laptop doesnt have thin bezels, then get the 18 version of this bag. This bag is smaller than I expected - it will easily fit the laptop and all accessories, but dont expect to put much else in it. As all the reviewers said, you need to make sure the zippers are bought down to the sides, or it will unzip itself. For the price, I am satisfied, but wish it was a tad bigger.

fit comfort

After about a year of use, this backpack is near failure. One of the straps is tearing off where it joins the main body of the pack and will be useless in about a month. This is unfortunate as there has otherwise been no real issue. It can carry a ton if I need to, theres no other meaningful damage, it has plenty of compartments that I was looking for. Might have just been a defective bag.

I was going on a cruise and I needed a larger backpack for my 16 inch laptop. At the end of the cruise, I was able pack 2 days worth of clothes in with my laptop. I was very pleased. I am impressed with the quality of this backpack. Definitely durable.

I use the bag still but not for my laptop ever since I noticed how unprotected it was. The side pockets are very narrow and not ideal for my charger. A good work bag though.
