Im happy to report that this elegant laptop stand works for my 17 laptop! If I nestle the laptop into the stand as its designed, it does feel a little unstable, like the laptop might fall off the back. But theres a very easy modification: I just slide the laptop forward, so that its no longer using the little upturned feet on the front of the stand, and instead is resting atop them. The adjustment is barely visible, and it just means moving the laptop about 3/4 closer to me. In this way, I can create great stability and the stand works perfectly. I love the stand--its beautiful and simple, my keyboard fits underneath it, and its just the right height. Highly recommended, even for large laptops.

Just what I was looking for. Raises the laptop up more on level with my main monitor while providing a place to store the keyboard when not in use. Best of all, it helps to keep the laptop running cool as the venting on the bottom is wide open providing great airflow. Lightweight, and super sturdy.
