The joints are quite tight to move up or down, especially difficult for fine adjustment. There is no mechanism for loosen or tight the joints. Otherwise this is a good quality stand.

Really hard to adjust but it just means its really strong! I loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stand. It can be lifted higher too I just have lowered. Not disappointed!

Since the beginning of COVID I have been working from home and have had to use my laptop. At work I have a monitor that is able to be adjusted to eye level for ergonomic purposes. Bending my neck down to look at the laptop screen all day resulted in severe neck and shoulder pain. So I bought a wireless keyboard, mouse, and this stand to raise my laptop screen to eye level which helped improve my posture. This stand is sturdy and stable and as a plus it is aesthetically pleasing! I would definitely recommend!

Brought my laptop up to eye level making it easier to read and use my laptop. Its well built and sturdy. Once you find your prefect position, there is no more movement in the stand.

Solid construction andkust exactly what I need to have a functioning music studio on my desk. Ive gone through many ideas and strategies to make my work station functional,and this solved all my issues. Its a little top heavy, but the flat base slid perfectly under my my keyboard controller which is weighty enough to keep it from toppling over. Very happy.

This product exceeded our expectations. Wanted to rearrange my wifess workspace and this fit the bill better than we could have imagined. Very study. Lots of flexibility.
