Been trying several stands for MacBook to place next to the larger display. Most options have been either too low with limited adjustability or too flimsy. This came right out of the box sturdy and stable without need to adjust any bolts and with sufficient range to position properly aligned with the display next to it.

The hinge gets scratched up when you fully open the laptop any more than 90 degrees.

My wife uses this with an old laptop (2008s Sony Vaio), which has a considerable weight, and the stand does its job providing stable support with no problem at all (the pictures were taken with my own laptop since I dont have the Vaio right here now). We havent ever used a laptop stand, and were happy with this one, it does not use so much room in the desktop and it also creates some space just beneath the laptop. Its weight allows to carry it on a backpack (I think there may be lighter options, but this stands structure feels premium since its steel.

A very good stand for the laptop. Seems strong and sturdy after a week. Can adjust both the height and the angle. Perfect so I can align the laptop screen with my other monitor.

Works great! I have. Lenovo T580 with the full dock and this stand easily holds both with ease to provide a better sight line next to the Ultrawide display. This is a valued addition to my home office! Its very sturdy, virtually no setup and compact.

Really like this laptop stand. Especially helpful for the Zoom meetings that are now a huge part of work life. Keeps the angle of the camera at a straight-on eye level, which is much more professional looking (imo). Use it with a cordless keyboard and mouse for a much more ergonomic setup. Plus, my laptop tends to get pretty hot and this keeps the air flowing underneath. It’s overall awesome!
