This adapter allows you to plug your 50 amp RV plug into a 15 amp outlet. As long as you dont overload it it will work great. Just remember its a 15 amp adapter, so you cant draw more than that through it safely.

It feels like it will hold up for years

Not sure how long these things are supposed to last but the one I used for my 5th wheeler camper to connect to the house lasted 5 years until I had to replace when I noticed it looked like it had a small piece was melting. For the price I’m not complaining!
