Osprey Arcane Large Laptop Backpack

La Vida Loca YT Keeping Up With The Reviews
> 24 hourThis backpack by Osprey is very well made but keep in mind this is a laptop backpack. It’s not going to take a lot and I am quite disappointed with the size. It’s long but thin. Zipper doesn’t go all around because of the bottle pocket will not allow for this. Also, bottle pocket itself is hidden and it’s not easy accessible. You have to remove the bag from your shoulders to reach for the water. Overall look is clean and neat. Part of the bag that sits on the back and shoulder straps are generously padded and super comfortable. Zippers run effortlessly. However, this bag is selling for $99.95 and in my humble opinion it is not worth that price. I tested many different products and I am so happy to see Amazon opening up this huge and competitive market-space for everyone. There are many sellers offering superb no brand name products at a great price and offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. Osprey would need to add a built in charger and more features to make it worth $100. Sorry Osprey but I am not impressed.

> 24 hourThe product is great. It was slightly smaller than expected but that was actually a positive. The shipping was delayed which was disappointing, but only by a day.

> 24 hourIt’s THE perfect day bag (I use it for work) or carry on for travel. I have all the space I need for adventures while remaining light enough to not be over encumbered with needless weight if I were to have purchased a larger bag. The quality is fantastic and I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on its styling. I hope this bag lasts a long time.

> 24 hourI wanted to love this backpack so badly but I just couldnt adjust to the back padding. It was so uncomfortable on the top side of my back (below my neck). Also, I wasnt a fan of how it only fully unzipped on one side of the bag so I decided to return the backpack. I still have good things to say about it, but it just wasnt for me unfortunately.

> 24 hourI think this bag is okay. I’m not sure why the bag only opens 3/4th of the way. It makes taking out large items out more burdensome. I do however like the little pouch on the strap where I place my headphones and I also like the large front pocket for large items. I will say if you have small items you are wanting to keep organized this bag does not have many compartments and you may need to buy small pouches and such.

> 24 hourI’ve owned many different kinds of travel backpacks. Although my luggage collection tends to be quite nice, my travel backpacks tend to be of the lower-end variety. I’ve heard great things about this brand, so I decided to give this a try. Here are some thoughts after a few daily uses along with a short weekend trip: • Size: This is labeled as a large backpack. While it is certainly long and wide enough to fit a 15.6” laptop, the depth is not quite what I imagined as it is built to be a little flatter than most large backpacks. • Pockets/Compartments: This is a fairly simple backpack when it comes to pockets/compartments. The front contains just one compartment. While it may seem that the front pocket extends to the bottom of the bag, it actually only goes about 6” down, so it’s designed to hold smaller items only. The interior has a three layers of “stacked” compartments. As shown in the pictures, the largest slot comfortably fits the 15.6” laptop while the middle slot can fit an iPad 7 that has a fairly bulky keyboard case on it. The smallest of the three slots contains a zipper that opens into a half closed / half mesh pocket. Lastly, there is a small slot opposite the mesh, along with the rest of the bag to hold additional items. As noted above, this is slightly on the flatter end though it does comfortably fit my two computers, travel headphones, and rolled up lightweight jacket. My only complaint with the design is that this is not a full zip-around. This is because one side has a sleeve to hold a water bottle. To be honest, I would have preferred the traditional side compartment and kept the full zip-around in order to make it easier to organize the interior contents. • Comfort and Look: On the contrary, this is perhaps my favorite aspect of the bag. I got the Stargazer Blue and absolutely love the color. It just screams “chic”! This is also very comfortable when worn, as the shoulder straps and back of the bag are very well-padded. • Durability: As noted, this is well-padded and made of a solid polyester fabric material. As I intend to wear this for walks to/from the office and daytrips, I believe this should hold up just fine. In summary, I love the color and comfort. I’m not a huge fan of the water bottle slot because it prevents the full zip-around, but I support I can live with it. It’s not quite as deep of a bag as I would prefer for weekend trips, but I believe this is a great size from intraday use. If that fits your needs, go ahead and give it a try!

> 24 hourI loved the color of this bag and it is quite lightweight. Perfect size for daytrips and looks good in the city. I returned it due to a lack of pockets. Was just too much of a pain having everything jumbled at the bottom of the bag. For the money, I think Osprey could have added some more pockets (esp inside) and a back hidden pocket to guard against pick pockets. I returned the bag for these reasons.

> 24 hourThe laptop sleeve and tablet sleeve should be made with stretchy material to allow snug, but adjustable usage, rather than the tight fit offered. It would also be nice if the right shoulder strap also had a stretchy pocket, like the left shoulder strap.

> 24 hourThis pack has an understated quality to it. It is simple in style, appearance, and function. The front pocket is medium-sized, and will fit charges, cords, a portable charger, etc. On the inside, there is a slot for a 15 laptop, as well as a slot for a tablet (my 12.9iPad fit nicely). The rest of the compartment can be used for papers, folders, clothes, etc. There is also a keychain clip, a generous zippered pouch, pen holder, and business card slot. Build quality is excellent. It also features a security clip so you can prevent someone form running away with your bag. A nice, simple bag that is great for running around town.
