Osprey Transporter Zip Top Laptop Backpack

Yes this pack is expensive, but in my opinion, it is worth the 100+ dollar price point and here is why. First and foremost, the materials, from the waterproof fabrics, the super-padded shoulder straps, and the zippers are the highest quality I have used in a pack. Second, the design is flawless, the top flap covers over the zipper to the main compartment as well as the small top zipper compartment making it virtually impossible for water to leak into the compartments. Third, and most important, is the Osprey warranty; they will repair any damage or defect at any time that you own the product free of charge. I am very happy with the money I have spent on this bag and recently took it on a small hike, not the intended use but worked perfectly. There is no negative things to say aside from the heavy price tag. This bag would be perfect for the daily bike commuter or person on public transportation.

I didnt expect anything less from Osprey, but I was impressed with the quality of this backpack. The material is this tough, leather appearing, fabric. Its very water resistant (but not water proof). The zippers are solid. The zipper pulls are large rings that are just lovely in operation. The laptop sleeve is padded, and best of all, stitched in such a way that its not at the bottom of the bag, or the sides, or the top. Your laptop will be very well protected. Theres a second padded sleeve for a kindle or a tablet. Then, its a cavernous pack. Just simply huge. In fact, maybe a little too big if you stuff it full and have to put it under an airplane seat. However, itll carry all the gear this road warrior uses on trips and then has a bunch of room left over. There are a couple of outer pockets and an organizer in the main pocket for storing doodads, pens, and stuff. The straps are good. The padding on the back is excellent. There is literally nothing bad I can say about this laptop backpack.

Sturdy laptop sleeve. Bag has many hidden pockets with decent dimensions for smaller equipment and outside Side pocket can ft Tall water bottle. This bag also protects my tech from moister if raining.

This is very durable, but it is taller than the description, which means it is too awkward for me to use well. My husband uses it while riding his motorcycle, though, and seems to like it for that.
