Work for a while but then it started glitching and now it’s pretty much useless did not use for a long time disappointed of failure in system besides that ok product

I’ve been using this for my Christmas lights, and the user experience has been very pleasant. Easy instillation, and the HomeKit integration was seemless.

Its a good HomeKit item. Easy to set up (use the Home app and not the Meross/Refoss app) and you get two independently-addressable outlets for HomeKit. Its great for helping to dial in outdoor lighting scenes, for instance, esp since its made to stand up to an outdoor environment (within reason, of course...I dont think it would handle a flood very well.....). I especially like the power button on the unit. Its a good value add. Only real nit is something that I think is endemic among Meross/Refoss products, in that it sometimes loses wifi connection or something. Im still not sure if its my system having too much stuff on it or what, so Im not dinging the product (it could be a user error thing) but its chronic enough for the other Meross products I have that I should mention it. This is, definitely, a good way to get more home automation options at a very reasonable price. I like this a lot.

My Refoss Smart Plug controls the lights on my patio. Makes life so much easier when I can use SIRI to turn on the lights as I am letting the dog out at night. However, the plug lost its connection to the wifi and I was unable to read the set up code on the device. I emailed support and problem solved! The turnaround time was much faster than expected. Bottom line - excellent customer service.

This is not an Alexa installed item. You have to download another app on your phone to control and add the Alexa controls. I don’t need another app on my phone. I just want to download the skill on Alexa and do everything from Alexa!

Purchased as a replacement smart plug to control outdoor water feature. The Apple connection was difficult to configure. Tried briefly to use Amazon but soon gave up. The Meross utility worked fine.

This thing, just like three outlet version which I returned, is garbage. I love Meross indoor smart plugs (especially because they work both with HomeKit and Alexa) but these outdoor plugs are terrible. I ordered this one as a replacement for the Meross 3 plug version, because the advertisement did not indicate it was made by Meross. It worked for 3 days and then, when I was out of town and really needed it to control outdoor lights, it lost its connection even though it is 30 feet from a very powerful Asus mesh node. Do not buy! Next year I will try the KASA.

After months of it working great it suddenly stopped working in the Home app. I had lost the QR code and tried using the company app. That still didn’t work since you need the code to connect the device to both Home App and the company app. I have read other reviews of similar issues that the device just stops working within a years time, so buyer beware in this item. No support from the company.

We use this outside to connect all the lights, it was nice to only have to push the button to turn off but disappointed that it wouldn’t connect to our iPhones so we wouldn’t have to go outside to turn off lights

Used this via my Home app on my IOS devices via Homekit. Couldnt be easier. Plugged it in, opened the Home app, hit add device, used the camera to scan the code on the device, took about 5-7 seconds to connect/add. Can control both outlets, can set it up on a schedule if I want, hasnt lost connection yet. Build quality seems fine, like that the outlets have covers (that are well connected instead of flimsy, thin connections). Very pleased
