> 3 dayI love that with a brush you have full control building up the pigment whilst it still being pretty opaque. With the soft sponge tools it goes on super opaque. They glide on many surfaces smoothly without losing any punch to the pigment. These are super grand to use weather youre looking to use them on resin or paper. I love them and highly recommend! PS: I know people had issues with them crumbling during shipping but mine came in without a problem. Well packaged and ready to use. It came in its own single container but I just added them to my stack of pastels.

> 3 dayThis was my first experience with Pan Pastels, but Im a professional artist. I used this on Strathmore bristol, and Im very happy. Ive applied with the Sofft tools made by the company that makes Pan Pastels, and Ive also used brushes. This product goes on smoothly and is very forgiving. I absolutely will continue using Pan Pastels!

> 3 dayIm not a professional artist, but I AM a professional shopper of art supplies - according to my Husband The Complainer - and all I can say is that Im halfway through my first pastel work (see attached photo of Snakey) and I LOVE these Pan Pastels. From what I understand, everyone who uses them loves them, and my little review is hardly necessary. I CAN say, however, that I have used them also for polymer clay, and I can speak to their wonderful qualities in that field, having had an amazing experience with them for over 20 years now. You can use Pan Pastels on uncured (preferred) clay, and NEVER worry about it not working - it will stay put through any sort of condition you can imagine. It survives through the baking process, even multiple bakings, and looks as fresh and beautiful as it did when you first applied it, the same as it does when you apply it on Pastelmat when using it for artwork (as in Snakey). I dont consider myself an artist, but Im having a ball using these. I know theyre expensive, but theyre actually NOT when you think of how little you use at a time. Compared to pastel sticks, you are using barely a fraction of the amount. If you take the time to compare the two, you will see. The results with Pan Pastel, however, are worth the investment, no matter the cost, though, if results mean anything to you. And they should.

16-12-2024I absolutely love these pan pastels for my business, they’re pigmented and come in so many colors. But THEY NEED TO BE PACKAGED BETTER!!! 2 out of 4 this time that I ordered came in completely shattered. Now this is going to make a mess all over and be difficult to work with. I’ve ordered other colors in the past, and they come wrapped in bubble wrap and were in perfect condition when delivered. These need to be bubble wrapped and shipped with care. They’re too fragile to just throw in a bag and send out.
