A great product! Just a piece of the system you need to get that mirror finish on a paint job.

Great new pad love the centering part in the middle. It is designed for 3M 39062 Perfect-It Ultrafine Machine Polish. I use this primarily on black cars to use a finishing polish or removing swirl marks.

Works great with the quick release adaptor and ultra fine compound, as intended. The foam is super-soft though. Made the mistake of touching a spur to the pad to remove dry compound and it quickly started to chew the foam.

Never had an issue with 3m pads.I own several pads from 3m, this pad looked like this after one use???? Need to return?
