I used these as a center dowel in my first ever wedding cake. It worked exactly as needed and they’re great quality. Be prepared with something sturdy to cut them to size though if you’re using them for cakes.

I disagree with reviewers who say these are straight. If I pull one out and look down it’s length, nearly all of them have a slight curve.

I made a double tier cake today. Cutting was easy with pliers, was sturdy and held my heavy layer without any problems. Good product especially for cake makers

Good quality

These are nice and very strong cake dowels. I’ve heard other bakers say that they like to use the plastic hollow dowels because they don’t crack their buttercream but I have found the opposite to be true. These wooden dowels almost never crack my buttercream when I place them in a cake so I really like using these they’re my favorite towels.

Inaccurate description of product. These are bamboo, not wood. Bamboo has different properties unfit as a substitution for wood in many applications. They’re technically grass dowels.
