Performance Rain Shield for Vista/Vista 2, Cruz/Cruz V2

I am so happy to had purchase the original rain cover for the vista.

The plastic is a bit thin. Need to be careful when toddler getting in and out under the covering.

It’s not durable, after 2 uses the clear plastic started to tear in 5-6 places from folding, it is a simple design to install but it could be better if add few more connectors by the canopy.. over all I won’t buy this again..

There’s no way to see down into the stroller with this cover. It seems like a good cover but it’s a no-go without a panel to see down my son can’t turn and talk to me and I have no idea what’s going on in the stroller without stopping. Will be returning.

We got this for the rainy season. Works great. Baby was kept dry and warm. Mind you we dont get heavy rains, just drizzles. But, it works. Very easy to put over the Vista carriage that we have. And on windy days, it protects the baby from getting too cold. Great purchase really.

I use it since my son is so young he cant wear mask so it gives him a barrier of protection while we are out in public during the pandemic

I never had the original rain shield that comes with the Uppababy stroller so I can’t compare the two but since we live in Seattle, I figured I’d be getting my money’s worth out of using the performance rain shield. So far, it has served its purpose of blocking rain/wind from baby. Fits nicely over the toddler seat even with my ganoosh installed and can even be folded down with it still attached which is convenient for us. The best thing I think about it is the zipper access so that you don’t have to take the entire cover off in order to get babe in/out though. There are two Velcro straps that secure it to the seat on the sides for those windy days, but I do think the manufacturer should consider having an additional attachment somewhere near the foot of the seat too. Note that the shield can only properly work if the canopy is fully extended out. Also note that the top will be fully covered so if anyone cares about fashion, no one will see the color of your stroller. Was not a factor for us but figured it might be for some. Overall, happy with our purchase and would recommend it for anyone living in wet/windy climates.

Easy to use and does the job. Not for snowy weather probably with winds but for some rain its great

I like it to have a perfect fit unlike those universal ones that have some extra materials hanging out.
