> 3 dayI dont know it its just me and maybe Im doing something wrong...but it seems like I got better pictures when I was using the free trial version (minus the watermark of course). Maybe Im doing something wrong, but my pictures just seem grainy.

Greater than one weekThis HDR software does exactly what it says on the tin! Its simple to use and the professional version is worth the extra cost since thumbnails of various photo options of the merged exposures are shown. I purchased this software on the strength of recommendations from members of the Photo Group I belong to and Ive not been disappointed.

> 3 dayNice to know you have options in your arsenal if you want to expand on your images and get creative. It is a lot of fun but keep it real if you know what I mean lol.

14-12-2024Im a semi-serious amateur photographer who wanted to make some HDR photos. I chose Photomatix Pro because it works independently of other software. You can feed images into the software, and it gives you several different options for creating an HDR image from the incoming photos.

> 3 dayIt works quite well and better than other similar products I have tried but you have to use the original tiffs for it to work properly.

> 3 daySuperb piece of software for anyone interested in HDR work. There are a number of presets for tone mapping that are a great start. But you soon start to tweak these and build up a set of your own presets which meet your particular style. Dont expect to replace photoshop that is not the purpose it is to use alongside other editing software.

> 3 dayThe book was very helpful. Im just getting strated in HDR and the Photomatix seemed very confusing. The book was easy to use and will lead you through the process. I keep it by my work station and refer to it frequntly.
