> 3 dayUpgrading from a TN 1080p 60 hz 24 inch monitor, to this IPS 1440p 165 hz is a HUUUUUGE difference. Well, Im sure thats obvious, but it really makes a difference. Right now I cant even run many games above 90 fps, and given I still have about 75 fps of breathing room, I know Im future proof while I upgrade my gpu. Not certified G-sync but it is compatible- although again I dont get past 90 fps very often, so I dont notice a difference with it on or off. Read some reviews of dead pixels, fortunately the screen is perfect and only minor I guess its called Ips glow on the left side, but its only noticeable when Im in complete darkness, and on a dark scene in a video game. This is me nit picking, though. I believe there are 2 competitors to this monitor right now in this price range, and the newer gigabyte option is tempting, however given most people wont be maxing out this monitor anyway, latency time is on par with what youd expect in this price range, and if Im being honest, I personally notice zero inverse ghosting (I think its called) until I set overdrive to high. High, it does make games have a strange trail to movement so I tend to stick to low or medium and latency is never an issue. great choice.

> 3 dayThese Pixio monitors work great for what I need. I play fortnite, warzone, and Diablo (Obviously other games, but these are at the top). 165 frames on these games at 1440p look amazing and the colors are awesome. The monitor has HDR but I found the color is more vibrant with it off. I haven’t seen any ghosting of any kind and I’m just so happy with these monitors. I have a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card so the free sync premium is turned on for me as well. If anyone looking at the reviews has any questions about my experience with these, don’t hesitate to ask. Seriously highly recommend these pixio monitors.

> 3 dayIt says it has built-in audio system but it didnt work. The monitor came with no sound, windows picked up its speaker but it doesnt have any sound. Tried all software methods and played with all settings, but no success. Thankfully I have speakers so it doesnt bother me too much, but if you want this monitor to be your main speaker, then you need to watch out, maybe you will get one just like mine that has a broken audio system right out of box

Greater than one week-OLD- (Pixio PX277 Prime) This monitor looked promising. Plugged it in and it worked for about 5minutes. After that I was hit with No Signal and then Power Saving. The display port on the monitor is faulty. Wiggling the DP cable from the box hasnt worked. Positioning the cable to be taut a certain way hasnt worked either. If youre looking for a 165hz monitor that is STABLE, dont go for this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -EDITED Dec13,2022- Headline: DISPLAYPORT CABLES Contacted support for the monitor(Pixio PX277 Prime) over the past week. I thought the port in the monitor was faulty. Turns out the monitor came with a DP1.2 which wasnt strong enough to hold a connection. I bought a DP1.4 after consulting them and the issue was solved. When I told them the solution, they offered a partial refund for the cable. Make sure you have the correct cables for your gear. Thanks to PixioSupport for being very thorough.

> 3 dayI really do love this monitor. It has no picture errors and performs as advertised. It has plenty of in/outputs and many options. My ONLY complaint is when I switch inputs from my PC to PS4. If theyre both on when this happens its no problem. However, if I turn off the PC before I remember to switch the inputs and the monitor turns off with the computer, it is insanely difficult trying to turn it back on to switch to the PS4 input before it turns itself off. It is difficult to determine when the monitor is back on, and it turns off before allowing you to switch inputs. Incredibly frustrating. Without that problem I could have easily rated this as a 5 star monitor.

> 3 dayThis monitor was sharp. Picture quality was a bit dark when game mode was selected. No lag, no stutter, no nothing. When it very well made... It was a refurbished monitor and my only problem.....it had no sound and I think thats why it was returned. Awesome

> 3 dayThe PX278 does not have built-in speakers. If you want to use the monitor as an audio source, you will need to plug in headphones or external speakers to the monitors 3.5mm headphone jack on the back.

> 3 dayI dont have too much experience with gaming monitors. Prior to this purchase Ive owned a couple of FHD 144hz gaming monitors. Colors and contrast on those things made competitive gaming easier but design work was horrible. After watching and reading a number of reviews I thought Id give this Pixio a shot to go along with my PC build. This monitor checks soo boxes. It was simple to connect and navigate the menus. The color calibration out of the box is the best Ive seen compared to this displays weve had at the office. The color temperature is slightly cool by default which was easily adjusted to my taste. I know viewing angles are import to some people. I dont understand... what crazy angles are you look at a desktop monitor from? In any case even at extreme angle colors still look great. The extra screen real estate bumping the resolution up to 2k has been quite helpful for design work as well. Now on to gaming. Its a great experience. If your pc rig can push 140+FPS at 1440p this monitor has to be the best option under $300usd. There are also built in gamer related OSDs you can enable like a timer, framerate counter, and crosshairs if thats your thing. Its a great monitor. You cant go wrong this one. ***Some things to note*** - The stand is not most robust. It only has an pitch rotate. So depending on how important ergonomics are to you, you might would want to consider purchasing a monitor arm. - If you plan to run the monitor at 1080p, YOU WILL want to adjust the Overdrive settings to high. I noticed a crazy amount of ghosting at 1080p 60fps until I adjusted the Overdrive.
