> 3 dayEven after you set it up with Smart Life and connect it still will not hook to Smartthings. This is not compatible. If that is what you are looking for do NOT BUY

Greater than one weekThese are not the first Porik mini smart plugs I’ve ordered. I have four of these configured to control old-school electric fans in my home. They are so handy and easy to use that I decided I needed a couple more for fans in other rooms. Not only do these turn the appliances on and off (when summer is over, I’ll probably use them for other appliances and non-smart lamps), but you can set timers or schedules with them. I already had the Osaio app on my phone and tablet, so this was easy enough. I did have a bit of difficulty adding these two new WiFi plugs when my tablet was connecting through my WiFi extender. I may have had the same difficulty last time. I changed to the main network router, made sure the new plugs were in visual range of the router, and also, as the manufacturer recommends, kept the device with the app pretty close (within about a yard) to the smart plugs. That worked easily. Once they’re recognized/registered, you can move them to more distant outlets within the range of your WiFi. The app recommended that I update the firmware on the plugs once they were recognized, which was quick and easy. You can initially name the plugs through the app, and when I placed them in the outlets where I’ll be using them, I renamed them so I knew what they were controlling. I’ve included a number of screen captures. The Osaio app is good—not all manufacturer WiFi apps are great, but I’ve never had a problem with this one. That said, I also use Google Home to control these plugs because it consolidates my smart bulbs, too. So when I’m done for the night and getting into bed, I use Google Home to power down everything—though sometimes I use the timers on one or two of these plugs to keep the fans going for another hour or two. I’ve just become addicted to the smart home devices and these Porik plugs work really well. The app, as mentioned, is a good one; the size of the plugs is compact (though if you have these in a standard outlet, you’re not going to be able to plug anything huge in the outlet above or below it—but there are ways around that, like an extension cord for the other thing); and these are priced VERY reasonably. My home keeps getting smarter. I wish I could say the same for myself. Though… these are a very SMART purchase

> 3 dayThese were very easy to integrate with Google home. App is intuitive and links easily with Google. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do stick out from the outlet about 1.5. This wasnt an issue for me and would all depend on placement of the outlet. If youre tight on space this may not be the option for you, but they do work GREAT!

> 3 dayI have not had one issues yet since Ive owned this product. I dont have Alexa, so I cant tell you how well that works with it. But I use it with my iPhone and it works for me.

> 3 dayI dont think it was the product that was the problem, but the OSAIO app. that was associated with outlets. Every couple of weeks they had to be reprogrammed. Then they didnt like being associated with Alexa and that was enough. There landfill now.

> 3 dayThis is my second pack of these plugs they are great to add to normal devices that you might want to turn on without going near it while it is powering on. I use these for my exercise bike, my 3D printers, and even my air compressor in my basement. I can turn them on and get things started so I don’t have to wait right next to them for them to complete their start up routines. The only problem I always have with these smart plugs is they only use 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz. I have my network running both 2.4 & 5 GHz using the same Wi-Fi name so I always end up having issues connecting only to the 2.5GHz on my phone and the plugs. So here is my work around that might help you if you are having connection issues like I do. Temporary rename your 5 GHZ network on your router and leave just the 2.4GHz network the original network name. That way when you connect to the 2.4GHz network with your phone or other device and then complete the setup normally. After the setup is completed you can go back and rename the 5GHz network back to the original network name and everything will work as normal.

> 3 dayEasy to setup and easy to use. However the app for these items are not smart enough. And the products are so large that you can not two of them in a outlet. They are still works well and worse at this price.

> 3 daythis stupid thing does not work with google home, or else does not follow the instructions they outline. i now have a paper weight that cost me $20. do not buy this. It worked the first week i set it up, but then it lost connection to my google home assistant, and how google always says it is offline. i cannot bring it back on line. tried with smart home and osiao app. both do not work. wasted 2 hours trying to re-establish connection. waste of time, waste of money.

Greater than one weekThere really is dont need to download the app that this requires. The app is the same layout just like other smart apps that control light bulbs, Outlets, switches and other items that may be in your home. I used the wbm smart app and it seems to connect to everything that I have. If that app does not connect to it then I use the Smart Life app. I have both of these apps connected to my Google SmartThings. Once it is added to one of these two apps then it will automatically show up on the Google SmartThings app. The nice thing about these plugs are that they are small enough to where they do not cover the other outlet. I paired them with my wbm smart app without any problems and as stated before they automatically appeared in my Google SmartThings app. I give this five stars and two thumbs up. If anything should happen in the future I will update my review.
