> 24 hourIve used CyberLinks software for years, and when you need these features, it is the tool to use. It has just the right blend of easy to use the first time with enough features that you actually use that work great. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourIm pretty bad with learning new apps and programs. It feels sometimes like everyone else can just pick them up in an instant and suddenly use tons of advanced features, right out the gate. My husband does photoshop and that felt so daunting to me. He learned it when he had hours of wait time during a deployment, but I dont have that kind of time where Im forced to sit and wait for hours and need something to fill my time. Ive always wanted to do photo editing, but most of the software is just beyond my level. And it feels like most expect me to learn so much right away just to do something so simple. I installed this and it took forever. My computer is about 6 years old and full of junk, so that might have something to do with it. It has Windows 11 and is a 64 bit, but not a huge amount of ram. The download took no time at all. But installation? Over an hour for me. Once installed, I hopped into Power Director, read the little pop ups, and got to work. Using the helpful snip tool, as I wanted to edit some videos that I had for a slideshow, I was able to have my clips ready to go in maybe a minute each, which includes publishing and saving. I spent more time searching for clips than I did the actually editing process. All I did was snip the clips out, nothing else, then save them, and add them into my slideshow. I havent tried any of the more advanced features, because I havent needed them yet. For editing longer videos down, this thing is a breeze. Not only can I snip out just the parts that I want, I can edit the order of them as I work, add in gaps of time for transitions, or different styles of transition, and then I can publish it as a continuous stream. So no more adding in one video clip, then adding another, then adding another, and continuously hitting the spacebar in PowerPoint during presentations to get my series of clips to work. Just one smooth video with transitions that I upload into a single slide. It sounds so basic, but I searched high and low for a simple video editor that wouldnt break the bank, that would let me just cut out clips and join them together into one video, and couldnt find a thing that would work for me. This worked perfectly. My only, single complaint is that I was working with some dual audio clips. They had foreign language and English audio attached to the video. I was able to highlight the audio track and change it to English. However, it would only save in the foreign language. I didnt have time to figure it out. I dont know how to unlock the two audio tracks from each other, so I couldnt use all the clips that I made, because I needed the English tracks to make a point for my slideshow. So, today Ill be figuring all that out, hopefully, and will update with how it went. So far, this program has been easy for me to use and thats saying a lot. I think this is probably an intro program to folks interested in this kind of thing. I think that any age could use this program. Its been really helpful for my very basic needs and actually has me interested in trying some new stuff, because it doesnt seem daunting at all using this program. Very happy with this. I havent used tech support. However, when I googled a question about the program, I found 2 support forums on their website that had the answers that I needed. So thats really cool! So far, so good. Ill definitely be making more videos with this!

> 24 hourI used to do photo and video editing very often (and used an earlier version of this software). Its been awhile so there is definitely a learning curve here. Its not software you click on and magic occurs. However, if you take the time to watch some YouTube videos, it works great. Its worth the time to learn how to do it. I am working on editing old family photos and some drone videos done by my son. Its definitely worth the learn and is easier than other software that I have attempted. The results are fantastic.

> 24 hourI am a someone who usually is able to figure out programs if logical and intuitive. PowerDirector is. But the University on Youtube is huge and impressive in that I expect to be able to create acceptable videos in a short amount of time. Still need to make some effort and invest some learning time but they do provide the tools you need.

> 24 hourInstallation and setup was a pain but that seems to be universal. Not sure why they make it so difficult? I mostly played around with the video editing and I really enjoyed it. It was easy and intuitive and took no time at all to create exactly what I wanted. It was a perfect time saver for me in creating my lame content. I dont have to waste nearly as much time creating something that nobody will ever actually see.

> 24 hourThis is an awesome set of software for both photos and video and has been instrumental in helping me create the most powerful photos and videos for my real estate practice. While getting to learn it can be a challenge, the tutorial and other videos found online will show you the way to optimize all the features in this software. It is an excellent value for all that you are able to do. I am extremely happy with it!

> 24 hourI’d seen some of the YouTube people I watch talk about their editing the videos they put on there and I know they use PowerDirector. The reason, I found out, is because it’s absolutely awesome and amazing!! Extremely versatile and if you know how to use all the features I believe you could do just about anything! I’m still trying to learn everything it’s capable of, but there is so much it’s mind blowing! The box came with a disc, but also has a digital download option, and since I don’t have a disc drive (don’t think many do these days) that’s the route I went. It really didn’t take very long for as intricate of an operation as it is. Once it’s installed the fun begins!! Having two or more screens would probably be ideal for editing, but I’ve just been using my laptop and it works fine. Just make sure you have all the requirements to run it. If you don’t have very much ram like me you might experience slight occasional lag, but it’s worth it, I promise. Once you see the end result you’ll be so happy you got this program. From my research it looks like just about everyone in the professional industry actually uses this program because it’s so amazing. Maybe not for films like Avatar, but I’m sure it’s been used far more often than we realize. It’s versatility is out of this world, and I’ve been watching a gentleman on YouTube who’s tutorials are fantastic. PowerDirector University is the channel name, and this guy is extremely talented, and a wonderful resource. It may even be put on by the company but I can’t figure that out yet. Regardless, he can show you how to go from the basics all the way to high level editing. Lastly, I’d say this, I didn’t know what a time commitment this would be. But editing something the right way is a full time job for some folks, so if you’ll be a nights and weekend user like myself you might want to few up your schedule for a bit. But it’s extremely fun to watch your creation come to life, and you won’t regret it. Highly recommend!!!
