> 24 hourThis turned out to be a great product. My bird would not and does not play with other toys. She plays with this one off and on all day, pushing the beads back and forth. Theres a mirror behind the beads which I think adds interest for her as maybe she thinks theres another bird playing, too. I bought this one because she was sitting in front of her mirror perch all day, so I thought something else with a mirror might be something shed like. It worked and I like to think shes happier as she now has something she likes to do.

> 24 hourThis is the second one of these mirrors Ive bought for my budgie. I use it in his cage when I go on trips, and hes alone for much of the day, waiting for his bird sitter. Its a cheap toy, but he loves it. I do have to watch the beads for signs that hes starting to wear them down since I dont want him eating bits of plastic. I dont recommend getting this for a new parakeet since you want the bird to bond with you before he sees a budgie reflections; however, once he feels like part of the flock, a mirror like this can keep your bird entertained. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

> 24 hourMy pigeon likes to look at it and it was simple enough to “install.” I’m thinking of putting a couple more around his cage since it’s easy and fun.

> 24 hourLittle one utilizes this, but not the beads, would buy again. Do not like how to attach as they are just extensions that slip behind the bars, but so far seems stable.

> 24 hourIf you noted in the second photo I remove the mirror when I get the toy I havent done much research about cockatiel after a few days y read that toys with mirror are not healthy for them so I just remove it and still functioning well my cockatiel still play with it.

> 24 hourI bought this for my 2 parakeets, and they showed moderate interest in the mirror and moving the little beads across the wire. When it came time to clean it, I was surprised to find the mirror is actually....a mirror! A rather sturdy piece of mirror came out and I removed the little (also sturdy!) bars and...some of the tiny beads fell on the kitchen floor. Uh oh. I couldnt find them so I took tiny rings and beads from my toy making collection and strung them on the bars along with few tiny beads Id saved, and the parakeets seemed to enjoy it even more. Im used to parakeet toys being made absolutely as cheaply as possible, and this simple toy just seemed nicely made, and my accidental discovery of adding different items to the bars makes it more versatile.
