I didnt see the part of the description that stated colors vary so was disappointed in the color they sent me! Other than that it was exactly what I was hoping for as my bird loves these! She eventually chews them up though so I have to replace every so often. Shes started on this one already... lol But she loves sleeping in them.

Great product and although it took some time for my Conure to warm up to the idea of this imposing item in his domain, as soon as he got the idea it became a pleasure to both of us to experience every night watching him eagerly running into it at his Bed Time cue before I cover his cage. Because I set up I big long wooden toy in one end and in the other a natural perch, he also loved to run through it, as a tunnel, going from one side of the cage to the other. Really amusing even during waking time.

Our sun conure loves this house! The only problem is we go through one every few months. He has it pretty much destroyed within a week, but he likes the bottom less rigid so that it cocoons him, so it isn’t a huge issue. It does become a safety issue at some point if he loosens threads. We received our third hut today and both hooks were broken and wouldn’t fasten. This happened with one clip on the last one. Fortunately we have some from other toys that still work. I guess you get what you pay for.

My Oscar loves his hut. It’s pretty easy to clean, durable, easy to hang in the cage. It’s a nice little spot for him to sleep in. He likes to play peek-a-boo in it too.

My conure loved this hut so much. All he wanted to do when I wasnt around is tear it up and hang out in it. He slept in it every night and it was by far the best investment for his cage. Im leaving a four-star review because it is such an amazing toy and house for your little bird, but its so dangerous as well. I should have been more responsible, Ive seen the reviews and warnings from people about their birds getting killed from it, but I ran my hand through the hut every day and cut out any strings, and it seemed safe to me until I came home from work. If you get this for your bird, you will be pleased. But please dont leave them alone with this hut.

I adopted a conure a last year from someone and a tent/bed very similar to this came with her. She loved it and it showed because she also loved chewing on it and cuddling up in it every night. Well, that one wore out so I tried to replace it with ones that I thought would be better because they were fluffier and more plush. Nope! Not birdy-approved apparently and my feather-baby Arya would just glare at them and pouted as she slept on a perch. So finally I got the hint and looked around some more and found this snuggle hut. It is literally the exact same one she had previously and the color I was sent happened to be the same color as before! Arya was super happy to see her favorite bed back and ran through it several times the moment I put it in her cage. She loves this hut and I love that it didnt cost very much and is easy to remove and clean.

My bird loves it and they are cheap enough for me to be able to keep extra if he decides to chew on it! I always always always always always always always replace it if it is fraying in any spot, so that my Green Cheek Conure stays safe, and would recommend the same for everyone! There shouldnt be any problem as long as your responsible in checking for any damage every day, and switching it out immediately, or removing it till you can get a new one.

These are great little huts. I would like to make one suggestion though. I believe there is cardboard on the bottom of the hut under the furry part? It would be nice if these could be thrown in the wash to clean them but I fear the bottom will fall apart if I do. Would it be possible to put a plastic piece between the fur and base to eliminate that problem?

The price is reasonable. Our bird loves it!
