It worked ok...I needed to put holes in a belt I accidentally bought too large. But the red disc w the hole sizes had fallen off, and the wheel w the prongs was extremely difficult to turn. At first it wouldn’t turn at all, but eventually I got it to move 2 spaces. Not sure if mine is just defective. But it worked.the quality was not as expected.

This is an excellent root punch. It is heavy duty and easy to use and will help me create new projects!

I used this to punch holes in leather and that worked great. When I tried to punch a stack of paper it ended up bending the wheel end. So be careful if you try to punch something with a lot of force.

I do automotove upholstery and was excited to buy this as it seemed superior to other Amazon products. I used the pliers with vinyl fabric which is only about 1mm thick on average. It stopped punching clean holes after the second time using it. The plastic pad has a little brass plate that is not centered with the punch itself. Whenever it missed the metal and chew into the plastic it seemed to make slightly nicer holes, which is not intended. I am sure with some modifications and a better base this would make be a great tool, but I would recommend sticking to good old-fashioned all-metal pliers.
