Greater than one weekBut you cant get grandmas Pyrex, Fire King,or Hocking measuring cups with D handles these days. The open handle sliips easily out of your hand, as you hold your breath that it wont shatter on the tile floor. And Oops! Gotta buy another one. so it suits the makers because the cups can all be stacked so efficiently. And they can expect more sales Id far rather a D handle! Easy (if you like the smaller print) to read red lettering, with ounces on one side and metric on the other. I do like the shape when I hold it up at eye-level or when I bend my knees enough to see the level of water etc. as the cup sits on the counter to be level. The spout is wide enough to pour whatever quickly. But its level with the cup rim, so you need to have a quick wrist and eagle eye to stop the flow if you dont need it all. The older models had a raised lip--more precise pouring.
