Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

I spend a solid eight hours a day minimum at my computer and after finally making the switch to an ergonomic keyboard thought Id try to make some adjustments to my laptop setup for the sake of my back and neck. I had no idea what a huge difference it would make. The stand itself is great- goes very well with the Apple aesthetic (use it with my MacBook Pro) and is solid and stable with nice rubber stoppers that keep the laptop from moving around and/or falling. It also frees up some desk real estate which was a welcome surprise.

Solid aluminum with attention to detail like rubber bumpers, cutout for opening the lid, and a gap underneath for cables. Perfect if you need to dock and use a large external monitor. It lifts the laptop to the same eye level as the monitor. Wonderful match for a Thunderbolt docking station!

This product is fantastic. The pictures do not do it justice. It is thick, heavy metal (almost 4.5mm) and has very little bounce or give. It has a beautiful finish that is an extremely close match for the aluminum MacBook case. It has a seamlessly integrated cable routing hole, and critically, it has well-placed silicone slip grips that seat the MacBook firmly and securely on the stand, and the stand on the table. Its also well packaged and arrives in perfect condition. I recommend the Rain Design mStand very highly.

stand is super solid and looks great. I love the cutout in the back because I put a mini power block through the opening and now I only have one cord to the wall and all my devices are connected cleanly.

The height of this cannot be adjusted so I have not found that this to have ergonomic use. I find that my computer screen is either too high or too low for comfortable use regardless of other adjustments I can try to make (seat height, etc.). I recommend looking for a laptop stand which you can adjust.

Stylish, sturdy and love the swivel base. Its very clean lined and a great spot underneath to tuck my keyboard and mouse. Very satisfied!
