Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

The mStand laptop stand by Rain Design is extremely high quality and perfectly matches a unibody MacBook Pro. For me, the fixed angle (and height) puts my laptop in a good position for preventing neck strain, etc.; however, I can see where this could be a problem for some. As others have stated the stand now has a cutout on the front where you can easily open a closed laptop.

The Rain Design mStand is a great stand for the price. I was initially put off by the asking price, but upon using it for a few weeks, Im very happy with my purchase. First off, the stand is heavier than I thought, but the one piece aluminum construction is very sturdy. My front-load MacBook Pro 3.1 sits perfectly on the 4 grippy rubber pads on the platform, and the front retaining lip allows access to both the latch button and the optical drive. The angle allows more air to travel under the laptop, I noticed that the fan doesnt come on as often or as soon under heavy usage. The generous height of the mStand raises the screen to about monitor height, relieving neck strain from using a laptop at desk height. The finish matches the color and texture of the MBP. It held my girlfriends massive 17 Dell without issue as well.

Absolut edles Teil, passt perfekt zum MacBook und ist aus einem solidem Stück Aluminium. Wäre es nicht so wertig wäre es auch ein toller Telefonständer. Man hat den Eindruck es hält für die Ewigkeit. :-D

Beautiful and stable. Fits well with my 13-inch MBP.

Very simple yet very effective. Now my laptop (windows) is always up to my eye level and I can comfortably do my work. I also use it to stay in bed and watch movies while not damage the processor temperature because the laptop used to be on the bed all the time. Now its just great.

I love this laptop stand. Would have given it five stars but I have a niggling little wish that it could be adjustable in some way. However, this is a really great tool and I use it every single day, for hours at a time and my neck doesnt become stiff or uncomfortable.
