So far all worked, so I didnt have that issue. While it is expected part of GBs are used for firmware, these are all 14.6 GB, which seems a bit more than others, so I marked off for that. However, I am not an expert. so this is just FYI for comparison purposes. I just thought 5% was the average loss, but could be wrong.

They seem to write close to what they say however i mainly got them for their shells. Which come of easily without noticable damage.

I had no problems with these flash drives. 14.6 GB formatted with FAT32 and no problems reading or writing. Throw in the price and I think this is a pretty good deal.

i bought 150 usb. its ok but i found 6 of them not working out of 150

These are USB 2.0 and going to be slower than most, but they do a great job when you need to give data to someone. I used them for a computer class with young kids. I put data, project files and books on them and the kids stored the code files on them. Great for things like this.
