> 3 dayThis one is so true to the original - they even made the d-pad just as bad as it was on the original.

19-12-2024This controller met and exceeded all of my expectations I purchased it for use with my Sega Genesis many it has an extremely long cable length so you can game on your sofa without having to drag the console closer buttons feel perfect and respond just like the old school classic 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayIt was a good product for fighting games but it is not very durable. The D pad finally broke making it useless. It lasted almost a whole year but thankfully it was cheap, which is the only good thing about the controller.

> 3 dayFeels almost like the real thing. 100% licensed/authorized by Sega. Appears to have the exact same dimensions as the originals, but feels a bit cheap.... Im guessing its a lighter-weight plastic, it just doesnt have that original sturdy feel to it. Works absolutely perfectly with the Sega Genesis Mini.

Greater than one weekThe floating circle type D-pad is good. But in my opinion I prefer D-pads that use the traditional D-pad cross type, for example the SNES or PS1 controllers. I was able to pull off special and super moves in SFA3 somewhat consistently with The Retro-Bit Official Sega Genesis USB Controller. It does have a advantage against most other controllers in the button layout department because all six buttons are on the face of the controller for fighting games that require 6 buttons. For Ninja Gaiden the D-pad worked okay but not as precise as the two controllers I recommend getting below. So I bought two The Retro-Bit Official Sega Genesis USB Controller one black and one blue one. For some reason the D-pad felt definitely more sloppy and could definitely tell the diff between this blue and the black one of the same model. The jumping sequences in the Classic Ninja Gaiden werent doable without making mistake versus the using the black one. So I threw the blue one is in the trash. The black one works good Im sure it was just a fluke by the way. My are my three favorite retro controllers: 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ Bluetooth capable and a great D-pad. For a cheaper alternative and the D-pad is also great, the iNNEXT 2 Pack SNES Retro USB Super gamepad.
