I bought this for my friend who had a old membrane keyboard since every time I went to his house, I noticed I had to type slower to ensure every key was pressed. I have ordered my own RK keyboard before but only got the 60%. I can say that this full sized keyboard is even better than the 60% that I bought a year ago. The backlit color settings are amazing and beautiful. I love that you can choose different colors of the rainbow AND a pattern. On my 60%, you can only choose blue as the backlit color. The keyboard I bought had brown switches and the tactile feel is extremely satisfying without the sound being too loud. This keyboard has quite a few customizable options more than the smaller keyboards by RK, and I plan to reorder this for myself!

I absolutely love this thing so far. For the price, the quality far, far exceeds expectations. Ive typed on keyboards for over two decades, from everything to original IBM Model Ms to even typewriters. Ive always preferred tactile & audible feedback. With that being said, I prefer blue switches, which is the model I got. They are legit switches, and the performance is more than amazing. Whether it be office work and emails, or gaming this thing does not disappoint. Pros: Everything about this thing is a Pro - including that the controls for the LEDs are hardware-based on the keyboard itself, not requiring any special software to be installed on the machine. Cons: None. I seriously have no complaints and can see me purchasing more in the future for other workstations!

Its a quality piece of kit. Id definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good keyboard, and not pay an arm and a leg. This reminds me of my old beloved IBM model M as far as the feel of the keys, and they are spaced perfectly for someone like me who likes to fat-finger their keyboard.

I am not using it for anything too crazy, but it works how I expected to and I like the switch sounds!

cheap keyboard but good to use and fun at the same time. Cheap feeling keys are the main dislike of the keyboard but otherwise a good keyboard. I let my wife use if for work and shes in love with the thing.

Im not quite a pro keyboard reviewer, but Ive gone through enough to know what I like. Its a silent mechanical keyboard, with a linear travel, good backlighting, shine-through caps, and a 104-key layout. Basically, they got the basics down. So much meh, right? Neh, I say, neh to the meh! This is seriously the most fun Ive ever had with something so silly as setting up the backlighting, and its not even my keyboard -- I got it for my wife, after I got fed up with trying to use her cheap, wobbly POS. I was expecting a few different effects, or something. The colors are per-key. The effects and brightness are keyboard wide, but you pick each keys backlight color! Forget typing or gaming; we had a fun evening of squabbling over the options, trying out different lighting schemes, and just messing with it. Seriously, though. Royal Kludge nailed the basics, and then they got the bling right in ways the big OEMs keep fudging on. Its gotten to be so rare an experience, getting your expectations blown to bits. RK nailed it on this sucker.

After 4 months, it died on me. You get what you pay for I guess. Worked great while it lasted, though I would hope a keyboard would last longer than 4 months even on the budget side of things. the ZXCVBNM row just suddenly stopped working in the middle of a game. I wouldnt go as far as saying, dont buy it, it was nice and my case could just be a fluke. The RGB settings leave something to be desired, if youre looking for a keyboard to customize, you might want to consider pricier options.

Im new to mechanical keyboards, though I did research switches before purchasing. This keyboard is great. Changes colors, gas different modes, you can set colors, and you can swap out keycaps. I bought it in white for myself and then my boyfriend loved it so he got it in black for his birthday. Definitely affordable and a great option for working or gaming.

This product is a great beginners keyboard. The only thing I dont like about it is the fact that its a metal board instead of plastic or acrylic so the subtle click of the keys isnt as satisfying to me. But thats a matter of preference and has no effect on my review or the efficacy of this keyboard. 10/10.
