> 3 dayConcerning the ROCCAT Vulcan TKL Pro: I am downgrading my review from 5 stars to 2. Why? In trying setup a default illumination scheme, I found this paragraph: Without Swarm you are still able to use your devices, but you are missing out on features such as illumination controls, re-assigning keys and buttons, customizing sensitivities or creating macros and profiles. A custom illumination (for say WASD etc. keys) can be setup only with Swarm running. Thats fine. If Swarm is killed/ended, the keyboard illumination (at least) persists. Thats good. But after power-cycling the keyboard, it is again necessary to run Swarm to reinstate the setup. Thats not OK. So its not possible setup the keyboard on Windows and then move the keyboard over to a Mac or Linux system to at least get a preferred illumination because Swarm doesnt runs on the latter systems and the illumination doesnt survive a power-cycle. This also means you cant use it on a Steam Deck (which is Linux). Thumbs down. I like the keyboard, but I dont really like the default animations nor the solid green. I can somewhat understand requiring Swarm to have keystroke programmable macros, but custom illumination should not require Swarm. I want a keyboard with persistent and default illuminations that will work on any computer; not having this is a deal breaker for me. There are other decent keyboards that do what this one does. Roccat support is terrible. In trying to contact Roccat, I notice that the support.roccat.con website is plagued with SSL certificate problems. So you have to either allow invalid SSL certificates or use lame browsers to view the support page.

Greater than one weekWhen I received it a bunch of the keys didn’t work at all lol. The delete key and a few function keys were completely non functional, maybe it was a fluke but it still ended up being a waste of time :( I ended up getting a Logitech keyboard with brown switches. Honestly I like it a lot more so I’m happy at the end of the day

> 3 daySure the actual board is thin, but nothing about this keyboard is low profile. It seems the only company out there delivering on the low profile promise is Redragon. The problem I was trying to solve by replacing my K607P was that it doesnt last long on a charge and has issues with double key presses. Unfortunately this is not anywhere close to as low profile as the Redragon.

> 3 dayI am extremely picky when it comes to keys. I usually prefer low profile keys. However, these keys make it to the top 3 for me and I enjoyed them so much I bought a second keyboard. Only reason being that I really missed a numpad for what I do. The software is full featured enough though my version was flakey and auto update didnt work and forced me to restart for it to even open again. Your mileage may vary. I used to see Roccat as a subpar gaming accessories brand, especially for consoles. Stuff that would break. However, this keyboard change my view completely and I enjoy this keyboard. Only issue being that not enough of the keys were remappable or programmable. I would have liked to remap the arrow keys and the second row of keys to the right keyboard (del, end,pg down). I had planned to map this as a numpad but could not.

Greater than one weekThis keyboard is actually not bad. It does get a pass and the reason why is because it looks good to the eye the colors arent to bright and arent so noticeable that it distracts me while i play my games. I bought this keyboard weeks ago and Ive been using it since it came in. Regarding the ergonomics of the keyboard seeing as im use to a numpad being on a keyboard I wont knock off points for this keyboard not having one because it wasnt designed to have one. Was a bit hard to get adjusted to at first because i use that numpad like crazy with my other keyboard which is a VAVA. This keyboard is actually very small and can cause issue for someone with bigger hands like me. I do have issues every once in a while where i go to hit the b button and hit the space or some other letter as well while typing keep in mind i do type pretty fast. This keyboard is perfect for gaming honestly depending one what kind of gaming you actually play as ive stated before i play games where i do indeed use the numpad for certain things in game that i need and this keyboard doesnt provide that but if you can get over that and want to make a switch this is the right keyboard. The keys on this keyboard are touch sensitive i mean really touch sensitive compared to my other board like the slightest tap and whatever you hit is popping up in text or casting the spell from the hotkey or whatever you got going on at the time. I like it though it can cause issues for others.
