I use this for oil and love them. They are sturdy and there is some leakage, but if you keep them upright its okay. I think most of the leakage is from refilling them, because you cant help but get oil on the outside when opening it up. Easy to open and refill.

These still arent the perfect roller bottles Im looking for because a little more oil comes out than Id like, but theyre still a great value and work better than any other 5mL bottles Ive used.

To make a 2% solution you need 12 drops per one ounce of carrier oil. These bottles are 1/3 ounce so you need 4 drops of essential oil to a full bottle of carrier oil if you need a 2% dilution ration. I use this ratio to make lavender mosquito sticks for my daughter because she’s under 2 years of age. Filling the bottle was easy but only because my carrier oil came with a dropper and the essential oil has a dropper opening. After you take the cap off, you need to remove the roller ball with the plastic before filling with oils. I could see how it would become messy if I didn’t have a dropper or a small funnel. I put these cute waterproof labels on that I got from Etsy (attached photos). The bottles are brown/amber which provides the ultimate UV protection compared to cobalt blue or clear, especially when you have light sensitive essential oils. The cap closes very tight and the roller ball moves well and distributes the oil evenly on the skin, nothing leaks extra. It’s very easy to use. One of my bottles was a little dinged up on the exterior but is not a problem because the waterproof labels covers it up. The size is perfect to take along. We use these bottles when we go hiking and bring them with when traveling. Plus, if you travel a lot like myself they are perfect because it will pass the TSA size regulations for a carry on baggage. Although I would recommend the seller to package the product more securely compared to the bubble mailer I received.
