Greater than one weektough fabric and sturdy zippers. I would like to suggest that the manufacturers add D rings to the ends for using a clip on shoulder strap, and zipper pulls with a luggage lock feature.

> 3 dayoverall this bag is well-constructed and made out of good material, the only reason I did not give you a 5-star across-the-board as it is not quite as thick material as other bags that are made similar to this. I am a paramedic and use this to keep my rescue Gary in. It is thrown in and out of truck everyday. The handles are securely attached and zipper seems to be of good quality.

> 3 dayVery big and spacious. Used for 2 adults and a toddler. There was more than enough space for a 3 day trip. Very satisfied

> 3 dayIt’s a great bag to keep in the truck or trunk but you need to let it air out first. It had a horrible chemical smell to it. Took about a week for it to dissipate.

> 3 dayNot quite as good as the real thing but close enough for government work. Detect no significant flaws; seems to get the job done. About the same dimensions as the real thing. For $25 it’s reasonable.

> 3 dayWe live in earthquake country and in a fire zone. Bought this based on capacity for what wed need to pack [got another of a different color for my wife so we know whos whose]... Most duffles I checked out on Amazon were either too large or too small - with too many separate pockets to lose things in. These parachute bags had ideal volume - and as it turns out, a perfect shape. First thing I discovered was it fits a deflated, folded self inflatable camp mattress at the bottom - which adds rigidity to the loose canvas box. Enough room left over for a sleeping bag, several liters of water, couple of stuff bags with emergency and personal effects, maybe some plastic bottles of Kamchatka. Enough room to stuff cans of soup in. Probably enough room for clothes but I keep a suitcase in my closet for those and duplicate solid state hard drives. With recent fires in Southern California we awakened to strong smoke at 3:30am - not knowing where the source was, could be over a hill or several miles away [which it luckily was]. We knew of news reports where residents were given 5 minute warnings with approaching wildfires. Hopefully will never need to escape with the chute bag but this achieves a grab and go solution for peace of mind.

> 3 dayLike the size and the material seems sturdy, zipper seems good quality, but boy, this thing has an odor to it. Hand washed it with soap and water then soaked it in water and vinegar and washed it again, let it hang in the sun two days. That helped. Will probably use it for camping gear.

Greater than one weekFabric does not appear to be quite as thick as my 40-year-old military issue parachute bag -- but great storage for my winter hunting gear.
