Stopped the stink immediately. Tank hasn’t exactly stayed clean with it installed, however. Lots of loose rust came out after initial install, used a wand to clean out the tank. After a week with it in, some black metallic debris accumulated in the tank. Unsure of the exact cause, but did not have this problem with the magnesium rod. Would rather deal with the metal in the water than the sulfur smell.

Ok so I got these to replace the normal rod that came with the camper. Kept getting the rotten egg smell even with a new replacement but after flushing the tank and installing this type so far no more smelly water

Bought these to stop bad water smell , the rods were the exact size of magnesium rods that originally came in my rv water heater , kit came with teflon thread tape also.

Water has NO sulfur smell because of the aluminum
