> 3 dayStopped the stink immediately. Tank hasn’t exactly stayed clean with it installed, however. Lots of loose rust came out after initial install, used a wand to clean out the tank. After a week with it in, some black metallic debris accumulated in the tank. Unsure of the exact cause, but did not have this problem with the magnesium rod. Would rather deal with the metal in the water than the sulfur smell.
