> 3 dayI installed it on my 2000 Ford E350 van. Works great. But I need to seal the back somehow. Water can’t get in from the front. But it can get in from the back through the wire opening.

Greater than one weekThis is a good quality receptacle, easy to install (that will depend on what youre installing it on). Seems to be waterproof and has been holding up now. I installed it on a horse stall cleaner that I built. It gets a cord plugged into about 8 times a day 7 days a week. It is definitely holding up and I would imagine most instalations wouldnt be used in this manner.

> 3 dayInstallation was easy. Flap didnt seal as good as other products I have used. When plugged in, the flap didnt cover connection very well.

> 3 dayThis was simple to install and the rubber seal works well both to seal against the wall and to keep water out when the plug is not in use.

Greater than one weekThe insert is 1.875. The instructions call for a 2 hole saw to install, but that leaves about 1mm between each of the mounting holes and the main hole, and requires precise centering to mark them. It also leaves less room for the gasket to protect moisture from getting in the hole. For the best fit, drill a 1 7/8 inch hole (if you can find a hole saw that size). It makes a snug fit, better mounting security, and less room for water to get in the holes.
