SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

This nvme ssd card has a low temperature reading at normal operation temperature of 37 celcius, which is way lower then the wd black 850 and the samsung evo 850. All three drive were attached to the sabrent rocket heatsink. Find out what strange is the sabrent ssd drive is next to the gpu card and the wd black 850 nvme was next to the sabrent ssd, both were at normal idle state the sabrent ssd is 10 degree celcius lower then the wd black 850 both card were m.2 gen 4 on a m.2 gen 4 motherboard.

Sabrent did well with this heatsink. It does exactly what its supposed to. Personally I wanted to opt for the elec gear heatsink (which is great, but a tad bit pricey). I instead opted for this cheaper heatsink l, which is by no means a slouch. Its got a good competitive price point, which led me to choosing it. So far, its been well worth the $

Works great for my WD 2tb drive for my PS5. Keeps it quite cool.

The main thing is it is fast. Great packaging. Great purchase for new build.

I installed windows 10 on this drive and after 1 month of running fine the drive suddenly died. I did some googling and it seems to be a common issue. Wouldnt recommend.

Dont do what I did and skip on proven Samsung and WD Drives. Looks good on paper but thats about it. I have not been able to replicate any of the claimed speeds, in fact its much less. Some of the test results are worse than another drive that I have thats several years old. Their tech support tries really hard to also make you quit without resolving any issues and thats why I will be returning this drive to Amazon.

I love the case it came in. Very fancy and sleek! It almost made me NOT want to touch it. :o But gamer’s gotta GAME! >:)

Sabrent was really ahead of the curve on this one. Back when the m.2 update came out I was really stressing over which SSD I should get and if I should buy an aftermarket heatsink or wait for the models with heatsinks already attached to come back in stock even with the price premium.

Easy to install. Works like a charm.
