Product works exactly as advertised, it is a large aluminium heatsink that has an adhesive thermal pad on the underside to stick directly to the ssd, and the heatsink itself is shaped to entirely replace the ssd cover for your ps5 (put the original in a safe place). It installs _after_ you have installed the ssd (including after fixing the ssd in place with the retaining screw) so I hope the adhesive is fairly weak if I ever have to remove it; the heatsink will need to be removed entirely before you can start unscrewing the ssd.

I am so glade I bought this for a western digital black 2tb ssd and it worked great both were easy to install it came I stopped playing call of duty installed it and was back so fast none of my friends could believe it lol they were no way you installed it that fast I am also glade I bought it this way it runs way cooler than a internal heat sink just pull the cover tab off and it sticks right to the ssd great buy if it sucked I would tell you so yes Great buy

Does what it is supposed to do but is it really necessary? Might be overkill.

This product came in a nice copper solid case to keep it protected. I plugged it in and it was recognized immediately. A brief test showed some impressive speeds! Not ideal for gaming, but I wanted the better long-term solution with PCIe4. Do note that youll likely need a cooler for this drive, as there was not one included. I am using my motherboards solution.

When installed showed 2MB of memory available!! Should be a million times that. Would have bought an exact replacement but the price went up 33000yen in 2 days. Bought an addlink S95 instead.
