The Three-in-One Emergency Escape Tool is well made, its safely packed. I tested the cutter, very sharp, it can easily cut the straps of the backpack. The hammer part seems strong enough to break car glass easily. Its cute but sturdy. Its much easier to store in the car then the nail hammer I have used before. I would recommend it just in case you need under any emergency scenario.

I have seen these in some foreign cars that i have rented. In the event of an accident, you can slice open your seat belt, and break your window to get out. Clearly, will only be used in an emergency situation, but is a small item, easily stored, and a must have. Ive given these to each of my kids, and will get more for my wife and myself. Blade is nice and sharp but very well recessed so you dont have to worry about accidentally slicing your fingers. Hammer point is also nice and sharp, but comes with a cover to protect you from injury.

I havent used it yet as I bought it to use in a possible emergency. It has a very heavy head that I believe will be useful for its purpose. Compared to it, the handle is made of a very light material. The fact that it is made in bright colors makes it easier to be seen in a dark storage areas, such as the front compartment of the car. Its great to have two pieces out of the package and to be used in separate cars.

I got two of these hammers, one for each car. I have a friend who insists on opening the car windows and taking off her seat belt, every time she goes over a bridge with water underneath. Im hoping having one of these window hammer/seatbelt cutter devices in my car, will allow us to drive on the bridges in the winter time, without freezing to death. The little hammer point has a silicone cover to make sure it doesnt damage or scratch anything, when youre not using it. I keep it in my center console. Hopefully Ill never need it.
