Theyre good! They work! They dont bleed - waterproof as claimed. Ink does not spread/bleed on decent bond paper. Tips remain neat and tidy with normal use. If your work involves tracing a pencil sketch, stray pencil lines can be erased after ink is dry - no smudging!

These pens came today. I use them for line and wash watercolor painting. I posted a photo below. I drew a line using each pen to show how fine/thick they were and immediately used a flat brush to spread water over them. There was no bleeding at all. There was plenty of ink in the pens so Im very satisfied. I cant believe the price either! I paid more than this purchase for just two pens from Michaels!

This is the felt tip series I’ve been looking for. Glides smooth. Every thickness behaves the same. No halting or scrubbing. The sizes are so versatile.

While these worked for the intended purpose, they don’t last all that long. I did like that they are permanent & come in a variety of sizes.

Just what I expected from Micron. It comes with all sizes, from 0.05 to 0.8 and the Graphic marker and Brush. Im loving the marker, so I know it wont last long. Its comparable to an easily used brush and great for line variation. The brush is as well, but seems more fit for calligraphy and advance inking techniques. Id like to warn those about the archival ink. It is erasable, just barely. It does dry almost instantly, but if you are to use a regular pencil eraser, it will smudge or fade the ink depending on how you erase. Granted, its only if youre doing some heavy erasing so light penciling or clean shading is the key here. A gum eraser may also help. I tested this on regular writing paper so take it as you will. Also be careful with the thinner nib markers as they can be easily broken, even when being inserted into the cover. Theyre not meant to be heavily pressed on.

I wouldn’t call myself a pen snob, but I’ll openly say I get frustrated when a pen doesn’t work right. If you find yourself in a similar boat, then this is the set for you! I’ve seen microns for a long time now and never really understood the hype. I’m so glad I decided to try them for myself! You have lots of freedom for bullet journaling, personal organization, or customizations with the range of tip widths in this set. I thought I would only be using the super thin pens, as that’s what I’m most comfortable with, but I LOVE the think pens. Maybe even more than the thin ones! These are my go to picks for every single pen need I can think of. The only call out I’ll make is that I wouldn’t buy this set if you’re most interested in the soft tip brush marker. It’s not necessarily bad, but it doesn’t give you the range of pressure control you’d likely want if you’re doing more advanced hand lettering.
