I didnt know the curved screen would make such a difference. My Grandsons did an awesome job packing our all the components to their gaimg system.

I like this monitor, its different from 1080p and you can see a visual different between the two, when I got my panel I hadnt noticed the deadpixels on the right and top of the display until two days later. My only gripe about the display is that you CANNOT enable freesync and change the response time of the display, so when you use freesync its a blurry mess. Though thats all the bad stuff, the good stuff is that it is a pretty nice display, good for watching videos and gaming, picture is clear and good!

Very defined picture and is also very easy to setup and use. A definite upgrade for anyone looking for a new monitor for either gaming or work.

Noticed crescent shaped defect out of the box. I didnt notice the 2 dead pixels until a contrasting color was on screen. Im very disappointed with this mainly because this is my SECOND samsung monitor with a manufacturer defect AND dead pixels. I also recently purchased a samsung G7 32 inch (the much nicer and MORE EXPENSIVE model) and it had a line in the screen and a dead pixel. Im very disappointed in the QC with these orders.

While I was VERY skeptical that a 27 gaming monitor did NOT come in a flat model, I was delighted to see that the curve was not as exaggerated as what Id pictured in my mind - typically you dont want to see curved models in under 30 models (I tried to select flat on the options and crossed my fingers it might come flat, but no). However, this turned out a great choice, my son loves it with his PS5 accompanied with some SEPERATE led back lights I got him, since he likes playing in the dark, and I dont like the strain on his eyes. So far, so good.

Highly pleased with this purchase, play on PS5 and mainly got this for MLB 23. But the refresh rate and everything are a plus for shooters and single player games as wel

Se siente claramente la mejoría jugando a120fps en la x series pero no deje de sentir que se realizó más sacrificio de gráficos en 4K de la tv de lo que mejoró en rendimiento con el monitor. Aun así creo que vale la pena

Since buying this monitor it has proven to be a bit glitchy. It has at times not wanted to turn on causing my MoBo to give a VGA alarm/light. At first I thought it was my new video card, so I swapped it out to my old one and got the same alarm, put the new one back in then started messing with the power button on the monitor. Surprise everything is working fine again. Other than that glitch, I love this monitor, and will never return to a normal flat panel again. While gaming it has given me ZERO problems. No screen tearing, no vsync issues, and my frame rates have been very stable. Even my 3DMark scores have been out of this world for a stock clocked PC. Win 10 Pro 20H2 Asus ROG Stryx X570E mobo Ryzon 7 3800X cpu 32GB of Corsair ram Saphire 6700xt Nitro+ video card Update: After downloading then installing the 1006.0 firmware update from samsung all of the glitchy behavior has gone away. No more alarms, no more flickering with certain apps, and the power button now works properly.

i gave 5 stars because that is the rating this monitor deserves... the seller, not so much... it took a while, but i finally understood the difference between QHD and 4K.... in laymens terms, QHD (1440p) is NOT the same as 4K (2160p)... the sellers sales pitch made it seem like QHD and 4K are the same thing... this monitor is QHD, and i bought it thinking it was 4K... also, this monitor only costs $400, and a samsung actual 4k monitor with the same features and specs as this one costs $900+. which begs the question: where does the extra $500 go??? why is there such a BIG difference in price between QHD and 4K?? anyways, this is a great monitor, but i can really do without the trickery from the seller...

I really enjoy the monitor itself, however the manufactures made big mistake with original stand is glaring. Along with the purchase of this monitor I also bought a swing arm mount to use instead on the original stand. I first assembled the monitor and validated that it was working. See that everything was working i removed the original stem and legs and I then mounted it on the new swing arm.. At this point the monitor would no longer turn on. I contacted vendor support via chat to troubleshoot (which was limited to the basics of is it plugged in, didnt you use the right button, etc..) After unsuccessful chat, I requested an exchanged, which Amazon getting high marks for. Upon reciept of replacement, to my surprise, this one doesnt come on either. I decided too try a hunch and was amazed and dishearten to find that the original stands stem has to be attached!!! This is total nonsense!! Its looks like crap! I had expected more from Samsung!

When it comes to gamer performance, the slightest disadvantage can be the difference between winning and losing a match. With a 165Hz refresh rate, lightning fast 1ms (GTG) response time and AMD FreeSync Premium support, you can be sure that the Odyssey G55A Gaming Monitor won’t let you down on the battlefield. Awe-inspiring graphics with HDR10 uncover the secrets hiding in the shadows with deep dark blacks, luminous whites, and outstandingly detailed resolution. WQHD packs in 1.7x pixel density of Full HD for detailed, pin-sharp, lifelike images. The monitor’s futuristic design looks attractive in any desktop setting.
