> 24 hourThe Samsung SSD was a great purchase. After downloading the Samsung migration tool, the install was easy. Works good, is fast. If in doubt, download instruction from youtube . My old hard drive was getting noisy, new one is silent. My Dell laptop is now much faster. Why did I wait so long:>)

> 24 hourHard drive is great, delivery sucked. Amazon did not notify me that a signature was required and no one was home them ups decided to take my package and drop it off at a store for pickup. The packaging was absolutely crushed. Im glad this was a solid state drive because a traditional hard drive would have been destroyed.

> 24 hourWhen it comes to computer mods, Im a Samsung brand whore. All of my computers the past 3 years have been upgraded to Samsung SSDs. I used a Evo 860 500gb slave in an older laptop with an mSATA Evo 850 as the primary boot drive along with 16GB memory. I also had an Evo 860 250GB as a boot drive in an older Dell tower with a 2TB HGST drive as a slave and 32GB memory. And yet another Dell with an Evo 860 250 with 8GB memory. No failures. No issues. Great speed and performance. Im now building a new tower and will be using either one of my old EVO 860s or a newer 960 M.2 drive. Samsung is all I will ever use when it comes to boot drives, plain and simple.

> 24 hourBest way to speed up your computer. Used to turn it on and go get coffee. Now turn it on and it is up and running in 15 seconds. Transfering large files is incredibly fast. Running scans that used to take twenty minutes now take 2 or 3 minutes. No need to defrag anymore. No moving parts.
