Good replacement for mechanical drive. Noticed improvement in performance.

Very easy to install in my laptop. A fresh install of Windows 10 went very fast, much faster than a standard hard drive. After a month or so, zero problems, and my computer boots up in 30 seconds or less.

Longer than 30 days, cannot return to Amazon and Samsung wont honor a return replacement.

I replaced an older drive with this one. It took a few minutes to clone the old drive and then install this drive. As soon as everything was done we were in business. Did I mention that this drive is fast? Highly Recommend!

El disco marca formato RAW a la hora de darle formato, es imposible darle foramto NTFS lo que significa que el disco está dañado, ya sea de origen o es usado. Ya es el segundo de Samsung que me sale así y para esos precios no es justo.

it used to take my old 3.5 hard drives about 5 or 6 minutes to load all the programs i use after windows has booted, it takes my ssd about 10 seconds. it is exactly the same for each drive ... i cloned my old drive onto the new one. for the first couple weeks i used to geek off watching how fast everything would load lol

The product is faulty.

Very easy to install in PS4. Helped load times on the old console. Between 20-27 seconds faster depending on the game.

I watched YouTube videos and it educated me - I needed to format the 870 EVO. The Samsung Data Migration and Magician software downloaded from the Samsung website was very helpful. My Dell Computer doesnt have a fast Graphics card so it will never work for 3D gaming but would be acceptable for some gaming. I picked the 870 EVO because I saw a video that said people had trouble getting the Samsung SS Drives installed in some Dell Computers. The 870 didnt come with an SATA 3 cable and had no mounting bracket hardware, so these items had to be purchased separately. I have built an i7 gaming computer and installed a SS Drive and have a hardware and software background so it was a pretty easy job to do but depending on your experience it may present a few problems before having success.

Purchase to revive an older PC. Now the Laptop experience is so much pleasant. Highly recommended.
