It works very well. When cloning your hard drive your computer will recognize it but wont pop up as a storage device automatically. You can confirm through the Disk Management its there or your software before cloning. Or to use as a storage device you can as well.

Nice drive for my immense HD videos. Samsung gets all 5 Stars. A++++++

I replaced a smaller SSD in my desktop q=with this and will use the small one for travel, since SSDs are less prone to damage.

I replaced a boot drive on a laptop and it made a world of difference.
