> 24 hourEasy to install on my PS5 that goes hand-in-hand with Sony and Samsung! Fits perfectly and runs smooth like butter! Absolutely no issues with transferring files after the formatting. I even noticed that even though it’s a 1tb ssd once it was formatted it listed it as 1.1tb. Don’t know if I was lucky or that’s standard. If that’s standard that’s awesome cause it gives you a little extra breathing room! Also not sure if I should’ve stepped it up to the 2tb but either way I am sure both options are solid!

> 24 hourBeen using it for a few hours, great performance and fast data transfer. It doesnt include the screw for securing it to the MoBo so thats something to consider. I am happy with the purchase, and will probably buy another one unless some issue comes up these first days.

> 24 hourFor anyone considering this for a PS5, Id highly recommend buying it with a heat sink. Sure, it is more expensive but in the long run with the PS5, it is better to go with the heatsink because, as far as I know of, the bay where you put it in, does not have airflow so temps are a concern.

> 24 hourAfter owning a PS5 since thanksgiving launch window. I always struggled with the system’s memory having a disc console only helped a little as even disc based games still require space on the ssd. The pain of having to constantly delete games to make space for new ones, and in some cases just to fit a games update got old pretty quickly. But initially the price to expand storage was just a little to steep to justify. But alas with more companies making the ssd that’s ps5 compatible the price was destined to drop. So when I saw a 2TB Samsung 980 pro for $179 I had to jump on it. Let me just say it was super easy install/format and now I have all my digital and disc games with plenty of breathing room for new ones and updates.

> 24 hourIf youre weighing between an internal SSD or external SSD for your PS5, spend the extra $ and get this. Internal is the way to go, not only do you now have more storage for games... Games can be played right off the SSD. Unlike the external SSD, where games would need to be transferred.
